Qjet problem

I have a late model rebuilt Qjet. Everything seems OK on it and it runs great. It has only one problem I can't seem to figure out;

If I floor it from a dead stop and keep my foot in it, it will fry the tires and go like it should. No bogging or hesitation at all. However, if I were to floor it from a stop and immediately let off completely ( a quick 'power blip' if you will ), it will stall, or almost stall.

This doesn't appear to be your typical off idle bog where you just tighten the air valve tension and it goes away. Tried that, it did nothing. Figured my choke pull-off was releasing too fast ( it does release very fast ), so I wired it shut so the air valve can't even open. The problem remained. Again everything seems perfectly fine, i.e. no stumbles, bogs, or noticable lack of power, but if you do the 'power blip', it will stall.

The only thing I can even guess at it being is maybe something to do with the fact the secondary throttles were modded ( by the builder not by me ) to open with a tad less throttle position than stock. To me, they don't appear to start opening any quicker than any other Qjet.

Any suggestions?

P.S. The accel pump is in the inner hole. Haven't tested outside hole because it's too small for the linkage to fit into. Accel pump seems to sqirt just fine to me too.

Idle to low, timing needs more advance, idle air mixture off, throttle stop not working...

How is your fuel pressure? Sounds like just a momentary lean condition. What speed are you going when it cuts out? Maybe a sticking power piston? Maybe a slightly low float or sticking at times?
