Power Steering brackets and Tall valve Covers

I want to use some of the Oldsmobile script tall cast aluminum valve covers. However, I don't think the stock, "over the top"of the valve cover power steering bracket will still fit. Anybody know how tall a valve cover you can use and still retain that bracket? What do you guys with power steering do with that funky looking bracket set up? I am considering going to manual steering just because the power steering crap its so ugly!

If the bracket straddles the valve cover, any taller cover will hit it. I assume you have a pre-1968 car? If so, you MIGHT be able to fit the 1968-up PS pump bracket that sits low on the driver's side.
