performer olds 350 intake with holley 4160

Was just wondering if anyone was running a holley 4160/4150 on their performer olds 350 intake w/o spacer or adapter?

For some reason I thought I didn't run a spacer on my last build ( over 10 years ago ).

On my current car (70 cutlass) the fuel line has clearance issues with manifold basically doesn't work without installing spacer in conjunction.

For a regular Performer I wouldn't think twice about running a spacer. They could use the added plenum area.

I've got a Holley 4150 with a performer intake and the spacer is needed. I had the same fuel line issues you're having

Good to hear i'm not the only one, the adapter i used was a quadrajet to square adapter , what about you? Looking at edlebrocks website it shows this manifold designed for stock carb. ( didn't see that initially )

I had the same problem on my recent build. I put the performer intake on and initially tried to put the 1406 edelbrock carb on it and there was no way it was going to fit. In fact, I had to put a piece of 2x4 under it before it looked like the linkage was going to fit.
I tried a holley 80457SA 600cfm single feed carb and it almost worked out the gate. It needed just a little spacer... so I picked up a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer and it cleared great. The holley linkage adapter fit perfect.
Car started first time and ran beautifully with that carb and intake combination.
