Road trip your motor to Mark Remmel here in Central FL (CutlassEFI) - he's a great source for full motor builds to your specs. Many here have his motors in their rides, myself included.

I suggest heading north, either Bill at BTR Performance in Rochester, NY or Aaron Shipley, AKS Racing Engines in Finksburg, MD.

Was going to call Bill and talk to him. I bought his book years ago. A wealth of Olds knowledge.

There was a guy named Danny Lattimore in VA, but he may have retired.

Mark's shop is in Winter Haven, FL - near Lakeland. PM him thru this site to let him know what you're interested in.

I'm fairly local to him, went to his shop a number of times during my build and he has a killer dyno set up on the premises.

Boyette's Automotive Performance Machine Shop Raleigh, NC

Our Team | Warren Engines Clinton, NC

Both of these shops have been building engines since the 60s. Boyette's has used the same building since I first went there in the early 60s. I watched Bobby Warren become NHRA champ in the 60-70s time frame. He still goes to work every day and is 90 years old. But, do not select either of these if you are seeking an Oldsmobile, only, engine builder.

Danny is still building Olds performance engines. He just did a 496 for a buddy. I have his contact info if needed.

If shipping is a concern, I've had success in the last couple months using Fastenal. Bring your ready to ship pallet (engine empty and ratchet strapped) to a Fastenal warehouse and they ship it to the local Fastenal. Kinda sucks having to go to a warehouse to ship and pick it up but definitely beats the $250+ charge for a liftgate at delivery plus residential delivery.
