Olds 330 year Identification

I have a 330 that I may part some accessories off. How do I identify if it was a 64 65 66 or 67 coded engine? Last car it was in was a chevelle. I was told it was a 67 engine but I want to make sure before I start selling parts.

In a nutshell, look at the HEAD ID on the corner near #1 or #8 plug

1 = 1964
2 = 1965
3 = 1966
4 = 1967

Which, of course, tells you what year the HEADS are from...

Given that the motor allegedly came out of a Chevelle, there's no guarantee that it hasn't been apart previously. There's also no guarantee that anything on the motor at present was from the year the motor was built. Unfortunately, there's no VIN derivative on a 330, only the engine unit number on one of the heads. Of course, 1964 is easy to tell from the passenger side timing tab (assuming that hasn't been changed...).
