I hope someone here can tell me what kinds of valve covers can fit my 87 Olds 307. Then ill know what to look for because when i search for olds 307 covers maybe 2 or 3 different choises come up. And there are lots and lots of covers for chevys etc.... Thanks in advance!

Any ten-bolt Olds valve cover fits a five-bolt Olds 307 head. The five-bolt covers simply don't drill half the holes as a cost saving measure. Yes, the unused holes will not have anything in them. And no, Chevy covers won't fit. You'll find about a hundred times the number of choices for a Chevy for any part you care to name as compared to an Olds. The number of people who buy Olds parts is a pimple on the butt of the number of customers for Chevy parts. Welcome to supply and demand.

 

Just RTV the holes closed, I do on 5 bolt heads.
