oil plug gasket?

oil plug gasket?

Was changing the oil today on the Delta and noticed the drain plug didn't have and type of gasket for the pan......Is my car susspose to have one or am I fine?

Probably fell off when you removed the drain plug. Should be a copper gasket, available at most auto parts stores.

Thanks for the help looks like I never had one to begin with, ill pick one up at Oreilly's

The copper one was used.
There is also a style with an embeded o-ring, too. Requires very little torque to seal.
