No Vacuam

Hi, 71 350 4 spd. I had my Qjet rebuilt and put it back atop an rpm performer, it run but has problems. Irrateic idle and blubbering. Long story short on my throttle plate I have PCV vacuum but no vacuum on the second smaller nozzle. I have the carb off and can see no reason why that 1 port would not be pulling vacuum.. Thoughts welcome.

Is it possible you used the wrong gasket? I know those kits have many "extra" gaskets and they all look very similar but they are different.

If it is the one for the vacuum advance, it is not supposed have vacuum when the throttle blades are closed.

the second nozzle you mention, is it to the right of the pcv nozzle(or port)?
if so, that is the canister purge port and it is a timed vacuum port. it will not have vacuum at curb idle speed. it will have vacuum after you open the throttle about 8 degrees.
