I have a 350 heading into an 88 cutlass supreme. After sitting all winter i pulled it out to start it and it sounded like it was going to turn over then the firing noise went away and left me with just cranking. It's got fuel and compression and brand new plugs. Everything in the distributor is new. Is there away the computer would have kicked it off?

I have seen computers do that but I would stay simple check for power at the coil if that good computer is working

You flooded it!
Pull the plugs and let them sit overnight - reinstall and fire it up!

Assuming you are running the CCC system, no.

Time for basic troubleshooting. Check for spark at the plugs. Check for fuel at the carb. If both are good, check the timing while cranking.
