Make and weight oil for a 72 350 engine

What make and weight oil do you use in a 350 mild build engine?

Weight depends upon your area / ambient temps. You would not use the same weight oil here in Phoenix as you would in Minneapolis.

If your in road island 5/30 havolin. Somebody told me never run a thick oil in an olds.

All I run is Castrol 10w30... but you will get all different answers on this one

Thanks for the replies. It looks like 10w 40 will work for me since the car is driven mostly in the summer.
