lifters recomendation

As some of you already know, I've had a sticky lifter ever since I buttoned up my motor. The GM EOS oil supplement added at oil change seems to do the trick but since getting back from NY I noticed a small oil leak at the front of the intake. MAW pull the intake and replace the lifters.
Any recommendations for lifters for my 350? CutlassEFI ground the cam, it has a little less than .5" lift, if that matters. Should I just go with some cheap Sealed Power stock lifters or spend the extra at Comp Cams?

Sometimes they get dirt in them and once its evacuated they are fine. If they are not making noise, your good to go.

I've had trouble with this one lifter ever since first-fire. If I don't use the EOS, it doesn't just tick, it clacks
Funny thing is, I can cruise town all day without an issue. But if I hit the interstate (or even route 66) without the EOS, it's clackity-clack.

I should also mention that I swapped in the comp cams roller tips and did a running adjustment on all preloads. Somewhere between a half and 3/4 turn.

If they are still giving you issues then by all means take them apart and clean them or replace.

There you go Mac, cheaper than the stockers at the parts store.

Mac, just curious, did you install new lifters when you put in the new cam?

With all respect, Mark, would these be different than the ones you sent me with the cam? Just don't want a repeat problem. And can I be sure it is, in fact, a lifter problem and not something with the bore? As I said, I can drive around town all day, 190* engine temp, without a single tick. Ten minutes on the interstate, 65-70 mph, 190* engine temps, and it clacks profusely until it settles down. I'll trust your experience here.

Randy, as noted above, yes. All new lifters.

Yes same ones. You could have an oiling issue.

Hey Mac, I hope a new set of lifters will quieten things down. I know you put many hours into doing a great job on your engine, engine bay etc. I really hope its just a bad lifter or a little debris under that specific lifter.
I don't know much about oiling issues, however the statement " oiling issues" sounds like a huge issue.
I hope you things work out with a new set of lifters.
Eric

I think there's about an 80% probability that it's a lifter and not a circulation issue. When I opened the motor up, the lifter valley was very clean and the lifters were tight but came right out. Plus, the motor didn't tick before the refresh.

@ Mark, I don't suppose my current lifters are under warranty. It's been a little more than 2 years (since purchase) and about 3k miles. Can I just replace two or three of them in that area? It sounds like cylinder #1 but it could be #3 or [less likely] #4.

No they're not but I'm sure we can get you two lifters for n/c.

I don't mind paying for a couple but I can't argue free-of-charge
Thanks Mark, I'll PM you.
