it will fit, sure
That's the EGR era aluminum intake.
Look for the A4 or A5 large ID on the RH side, aft of the water passage.
A5 has tiny ports for 260 or roller cam 307 use.
A4 has 350-suitable ports.

There is an INTAKES thread here with photos of almost all known units in captivity.

It should fit a '70 350. you can plug the EGR which it looks like it has been. Is the motor stock? I dont think the A4 is known for a performance intake but it's lighter than cast iron. Probably be an equal swap.

Yeah it'll work. Not a high performance intake though.

What's up with the 2 round indentions in the secondaries? Never saw those before in an A4 intake.

there casting nubs and stick out about 1/4 inch, notice theres no crosshatch in the port floor, i believe its a very early model, the later intakes have croshatch in the floor

Yeah all the ones I've seen had the crosshatching too. I think I'm mistaken about the casting nubs. I have seen those on the other A4's but what must have through me off was it looked different due to the absence of the crosshatching.

If you are going to block the EGR, I would unscrew the EGR tubes from the primary tubes and plug them with hex socket fittings. Just removes some more restrictions.

Just keep in mind that the only "performance advantage this intake has over the stock cast iron 4bbl intake is lower weight. The runners are the same.

Also, check the cooling passages on the 4 corners (can't see them in the pics) they can get pretty corroded on those older intakes.

By the way, to answer the original question (did they make a aluminum intake for 1970 350s), the answer is yes on the W-31, and expect to pay $1500 for a good used original.
