I have a 1955 oldsmbile with a 324 and a 2 barrel carb. I wanted switch over to a 4 barrel so I bought a used intake online and it bolts up, but it's too small? The intake manifold barley covers the intakes on the heads. How can I make sure I get the correct manifold for my engine?

 

Are you sure it's a intake for a 324, sounds like it may be for a 303.If the intake gasket shows a lot of meat around the ports and the old 2bbl manifold doesn't you got a 303 intake......Tedd

 

After reviewing the casting numbers your right, it labeled wrong on ebay. Buyer beware I guess.
