How to remove the radiator

My 68 cutlass w/ac radiator had a pretty bad leak. I bought a new one and it comes in tomorrow. I am wanting to take the old one out, and I can't seem to figure out how it comes out. I know pretty stupid question. But after the trans cooler lines and hoses are off does it just pull out or do i need to undo any bolts or nuts? Thank you for the help.

Remove screws attaching fan shroud to radiator and let fan shroud sit backward away from radiator.

Remove screws attaching top plate to core support and remove top plate.

Lift out radiator.

Pretty easy from what you have already have mentioned. Remove top plate and the fan shroud. Don't forget to transfer the rubber mounts which sit IIRC where the side tanks meet the core and the petcock and drain tube if not included with the replacement unit.

If it is an automatic don't forget the transmission cooler lines.

You just lift it out. But sometimes it isn't as easy as it sounds. I have found that, if the radiator has been in there for years, it can become stuck, and you have to give it a good tug, perhaps a larger tug than you would seem comfortable doing, to get it freed up and out. I have sometimes rocked it back and forth or side to side slightly to both free it up and make absolutely sure I haven't forgotten to loosen or remove something.

I always thought the GM radiator mounting was a good idea.
