How to Identify a Ram Rod 350

I am going to look at what the seller is calling a ram rod 350. It is currently in a truck and is a running and driving engine. He says that it came out of a wrecked ‘68 cutlass. I know these had #5 heads and flat topped pistons. I am bringing my camera that I can stick through one of the spark plug holes to see if the pistons are flat. Is there any other way to identify one of these engines and what do would value one?

First verify it's a 350 from the block casting #'s between the front cover and intake manifold. The breather on the oil fill tube isn't from '68.

Good luck!!!

Long shot telling if it is. Maybe big harmonic balancer however it has a factory cast iron EGR intake on it and looks like an Edelbrock carb based on where fuel inlet is. Lots of stuff gone that could even get you close.

But the air cleaner says so🤣. Really good chance that isn't one. The EGR intake screams 73 and up 4 bbl intake shoved on a 68 or 69 2 barrel 350.

Looking further into this look at the exhaust crossover on the head. That's a mid 70's cylinder head not an early one. All later style pulleys. I'd say the whole thing is mid 70's emission engine.
