Holley Carb on Edelbrock Intake

I have a Edelbrock Performer intake on my 350 with a Edelbrock 600 CFM Electric Choke carb sitting on it. I am having some performance issues with the carb, and have a friend who has a brand new in the box Holley 600 CFM Electric Choke carb he will let me have REAL cheap. Will it bolt right on, or do I need some kind of adapter to make it work on the Edelbrock intake?

What other parts will I have to change, linkages fuel lines etc?

Thanks...

I am using a 80457 Holley 600 on my Edelbrock maniflod and it works great. I know a lot of people cuss Holley's but I have always used them and have great luck with them.

What kind of throttle cable linkage/brackets did you use?

I fabricated my own from flat stock steel it goes from one of my valve cover studs to the dr. Side carb mount stud. I'll take a pic tommorow when I'm at the shop. It will work with both the edelbrock and the holley.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pic. Not sure what I am going to do yet, but your setup gives me another option.

Yeah I got tired of messing around with the cheap one from summit which i bent and welded so it would work. I made this because i didnt feel like spending the money on a new bracket., I had some flat stock and the piece that holds the cable so i made some bends and welded it all up.

Which unfortunately has nothing to do with a Performer 350 intake from a clearance or performance standpoint.
