Here is a small block intake that doesn't exist!

this was at a yard last year. I didn't buy it . . . picked up an aluminum one instead.

references say it isn't correct. You tell me.

I'm no Rain Man with the numbers, but it looks like a normal up-to-'69 4bbl SBO manifold to me.

ya, the link is right. 68 350 divorced choke intake. all 350. 69 big block had the divorced choke, but the small block in 69 might have had a hot air tube to the choke.

I asked about this intake in a thread when I found a disassembled motor in the trunk of a 1980 cutlass.

I bought the #5 heads but didn't buy much else.

Thanks for the replies and info.

I guess I just needed to suggest a correction on the FAQ page.

I wanted to post the pics last year but hadn't gotten around to it til now.

I have one exactly like it. It came off of a 67 330, high compression motor.

yep . . . they are around . . .

Here is the message I sent them.

HI
first THANK YOU to those who have provided this great source of information.

I found an error on the small block intake manifold section. The 1968 small block intake casting info " ? 398663 '68-'69 350 2bbl. Iron. " is incorrect. It should say 4bbl and not 2bbl.

thanks again for maintaining such great information that all Oldsmobile enthusiasts can use to help them learn more about the greatest car line ever!!

But I did notice that it hasn't been updated since 2000. Hopefully someone is still maintaining the faq information.
