Help with cam selection and other things

I got a 350 bored .030 flat tops, stock number 6 heads, performer rpm intake. Any idea what cam would go nice with this. 3.90s and going to go with a 2500 to 2800 converter. I'm looking at a .520/.523 274/286 110lsa hydraulic Flat tappet right now. Also do the rocker seats or whatever it's called have to be cut down for that big of a cam?

No, you should have plenty of spring height for that lift on #6 heads. You will need an adjustable valve with that lift. What octane, idle quality and timing curve are you looking for? What are the at .050" duration numbers with that cam? I am guessing a Comp Cam with 230 and 236 at .050", should work with your 10+ to 1 compression. With the 3.90 and at least a 2500 stall it should work quite well. Hopefully at least a 750 carb tuned to your motor as well.

Yup 230 236 at .050. highest octane at the pump which around here is 93 I believe, idle quality I want some chop but I'd rather have the best cam for the setup then a huge cam just for the sound.

Also what do you mean by adjustable valve? Any recommendations for valve springs? I'm having hard time finding some that aren't stock.

Comp should have the matching valve springs linked on their site. You need at minimum the Comp roller tip rocker arms, studs and guide plates. More than likely you will also need shorter push rods as well.

Adjustable valve train, as in adjustable rocker arms or adjustable push rods.

Ok I figured I'd need shorter or longer pushrods but I guess I'll look into the roller rockers too, I thought stock rocker arms would work
