Hello everyone!
I'm having some problems to identify cam in my 403 olds engine. It is aftermarket but the previous owner didn't remember what exactly it is. I found only castings of CWC manufactoring and 1 stripe just before the largest jounal and letter G stamped on its back surface. Can't it be MTO-1 or something by Comp cams or there should be some special marks? I really don't know where to look for them.
Also, while doing a complete teardown, I found some strange things like .010 rod and main bearings that look like original ones. Is it possible? Cylinder walls are in great shape with nice hone, pistons are stock but ring gap is about .032. Is it possible (or typical) that only rings are worn out?
And does anyone know if these long headers fit Olds Ninety-Eight 1981? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/h...ake/oldsmobile
P.S. Sorry for my english. I live very-very far from the US
