Headpipes

Im looking for a place to order downpipes for my 71 olds cutlass...Does anyone have any leads where I could find them? has any one dealt with the place that sells exhaust called Pypes..I need the setup for dual exhaust..two downpipes...any help would be aprreciated....i checked with my local advance auto and they only carry the right side......thanks.. I am using the original manifolds.. was going to use headers but decided to stay with the manifolds..

pypes are the only one I have used and they were pretty good. They are 2.5". Walker which used to make all the front pipes and advance used to carry them now does indeed only make one side. I never understood this. Try the pypes if not your other options are buying used ones or going to a muffler shop and have them make them. My meinekee still has bend cards going back to the 50" so I go there and get mine made without even have to bring the cars.

Gardner has some top of the line stuff but you pay for it. Whether you can buy just head pipes I'm not sure. http://www.gardnerexhaust.com/index.html

I used this company for my whole exhaust system: http://classicexhaustinc.com/. It fit perfect but I thought the tailpipes were rather small but I didn't care because I'll be swapping the 330" out in the future for a BBO with headers and 3" inch exhaust.

I've never bought just head pipes so I can't comment on Pypes or Torque Tech.

Yes you are correct...Gardeners only sells the complete system..have already checked with them... Meinke sounds interesting because they make them without the car there?? thats interesting.. have to check with them...Thanks....
