h/o 307 to 350 swap details
so i swapped in the 350 and 2004r trans a few days ago and could out that the fuel pump for the 307 is slightly different than the one on the 350. the 307 one has an extra fuel line going to it and i assume its for emissions or something like that. the 350 fuel pump doesn't have an attachment point for this line. should i plug it or go with the original fuel pump from the 307? also just for peace of mind (or lack of it) can anybody tell me the PROPER way to seal an oil pan? thanks /Users/jhrhth91/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Previews/2013/06/30/20130630-011254/IMG_0085.jpg

I tried the die&sell pan gasket a couple engines back... too fat [wide] and interfered with the A-body motor mount[s]. Not sure it was worth the trouble.

Hey Joe, just curious, didn't the older 350 cars equipped with a/c come with the return line?

I would have sworn that they did, but I just went out and checked my 71 Cutlass parts car with 350 4bbl and A/C. It does not have fuel return. I guess I just haven't owned that many small block cars...
