Float Adjustment on Rochester 4 Barrel

I have a 1962 Olds Starfire and my carb was recently rebuilt. Ever since the rebuild I have had some trouble with the car flooding, it seems to be the floats that are causing this issue. Can someone tell me what the proper settings are for the floats, and don't get too technical I'm not a mechanic. HaHa, thanks in advance.

I recommend getting a 1961 Service manual on ebay or elsewhere. The factory procedures are technical and not just a simple distance measurement.

I actually have two 1962 Service Manuals and they only give reference to the 2 barrel carb, which has a totally different float system than the 4 barrel.

Thank you

The 1962 manual was a suppplement to the 1961 manual. That's why I said you should get a 1961 manual.
