exhaust manifold

are there difference between the ports of a 69 manifold and a 411981 LH; 350 gas manifold?

i found one between the loose parts of my 69 delta 88.
that curently runs with a singel exhaust.

can i use this 411981 manifold to make a dual exhaust or are there to many difference between my original rh exhaust.

411981 is a driver's side manifold for any small block.

A RH exhaust manifold has the crossover port and a rear port. You can weld the rear port shut on your rh manifold and run duals that way..... Or you could try that LH manifold on the passenger side and see if you have room.
Stranger things have been done.

Unless you are planning to cut and weld a manifold to fit, the only dual exhaust manifold that will work on the 1965-1970 full size cars with big block is the correct factory style one, due to the rear steering configuration. Thornton sells reproductions.

My 69 delta 88 runs with a 350 engine.

thats why i asked my question

i can shut of the pasengerside exhaustmanifold, but need to know if there are difference about the ports etc.

so i don't get difference between the pressure in the engine combustion.

it's just a thought, i have the left exhaustmanifold so why don't use it.

i have to consider what i do with my money i need so manny parts to compleet my project.
and if the left exhaust header works, it's a cheap methode to make duals.
