I have a 1979 with a V8 260, I want to upgrade it to a 350, I still have to smog the car in California and I dont want to deal with the hassle of removing parts for smog, I know that a 350 was available that year,

Any suggestions on what to drop in the car to make it move, keep in mind a new tranny also.

What would you do to it if it was your car?

This is an easy, bolt in swap. All of the smog stuff will bolt on to the 350 engine. A turbo 350 should be strong enough to hold up to a stock or warmed up engine. Good luck.
