It’s the one on the left I heard they are bop?
know if I can use a Pontiac HEI?

No Pontiac uses a different distributor.

Now that I think about it more, maybe only the drive gear is different? Not sure the lengths are the same, but it is pretty easy to find a Olds one, then you know it will fit.

I have an ebay hei. It appears tobe the same as the summit hei. No issues been working for 3-4 yrs. it does have a lot of mech advance 24ish and the adj vac advance canister never seemed to adjust so i limited it w a stop.
