My 72 convertible is in Bad need of re piping . Is there any benefit to going dual or should I keep it stock single exhaust .

Years ago there was a good shop in Plano that was very good. Don't know if they are still in business and don't remember the name. They were at 75 and 15th street.

That was Pronto Muffler in Plano and I think they are still in business. They did a 74 Corvette and a 72 Cutlass for me with twin turbos on both. They did great work. There is a really good muffler shop here in Rowlett. It is Jon's muffler and the owner is Jeff. Great guy and good work and reasonable prices.

Following! I'll need someone to bust out new tail pipes for me at some point.
I've heard the guy at Exhaust Authority on K is good, but that was ~10 years ago......

The advantage of dual over single becomes more important as speed increases; a bit more power & MPG. Of course there are those who prefer stereo music over monaural.

Rich's Performance Muffler in Wylie, 972-461-0776. They built me two custom systems and did repairs on a third car, very good work.

I doubt they would take on a job this small and probably not much chance of catching Richard Rawlings there. Have you ever used them?
