cs1024r sealed power cam in a 350?

I have a 1970 350 4 barrel with #7 heads, aluminum intake and full exhaust that is not running that well and i have a receipt for this cam from the previous owner. Is this cam okay with this motor?

What are the cam specs? Also, #7 heads came on a 71 350, not 70, significant difference in compression ratio.

This is a link I found for the specs: http://aftermarket.federalmogul.com/...%20CS1024R.pdf

Ill have to double check the heads I think they are actually the #6.

That cam is the most common generic cam seemingly made by almost every cam manufacturer in existance. It's nothing all that special. It's just a 'mild RV' type cam. There are plenty of better ones out there, but to answer your question, yeah, it's 'OK' for your engine assuming everything else about it ( like CR ) is good and you're not expecting a fire-breather.

'Aluminum intake' and 'full exhaust' are extremely vague descriptions of what you have though. You need to be more specific.

I recently bought the car so I do not know the details but it has dual exhaust with headers and glasspacks. The intkake has no brand stamped on it. Obviously this cam is not the best choice for this engine

Depends on the use... it's OK for a daily driver with a slight increase in performance.
