Want to know right partnumber for 1953 303 engine with stick. We have a crank with p/n 561656 but partbook say p/n 561655.For Dynaflow you have to use p/n 565524.Can somebody tell what is the difference between these
cranks????

Crankshaft forging numbers (and engine casting numbers ) are often one number off the number listed in the parts book .
Stick shift and Hydra-Matic both use the same crank. Hydra-Matic also used a pilot bearing .
Dyna-Flow jobs used a different crank , the crank end was specially machined to fit the Dyna-Flow trans.
The 561656 should be the right one to use , as long as it has a pilot bearing .
