break in of rebuilt eng
whats the procedure for breaking in a newly rebuilt 350, I know the cam mfg's saying to start and run at 2000 rpm's for 20 mins with break in additive and pre lube the oil system. but what after that? .......jim

I would say just go out and drive it after the initial break-in...vary your speeds for a couple hundred miles...dont take it on a trip where the speed is constant....Then do an oil change and drive as usual.
