Bracket for Linkage on Holley Carb

Hi guys,.. I replaced my original Qjet on my '71 Cutlass Supreme. The neddle valve and float were in sad shape and I will eventually send it off to get rebuilt by a professional.

In the meantime, I put a Holley 4160 (600cfm) on it with a square/spread bore adapter. I temporarily connected the linkage together with the cable and bracket that was adjusted for my Qjet. However,.. now I do not have full throttle available because of the shorter distance. The linkage connector is further to the rear of the car than the Qjet's was.

Has anybody dealt with this and made a good fix? The Holley will probably be on there over the winter so it won't get driven a bunch.

I can measure and make a new bracket but why do that when this forum is here?? Haha,... this place is great.

Thanks in advance,.. I'll post some pics of what I'm talking about tonight.

Thanks.

I custom made my own throttle bracket from some flat stock and a cheapo throttle bracket kit.
