I just bought an 82 cutlass with apparently a 350 rocket and 400 t tranny...I'm looking for some guidance....to start,its supposed to have a 1970 engine which I believe was still a good year for the rocket...how can I tell?

 

You might want to keep the questions about this car to one thread to keep responses on track, but as far as the year of the motor, check the VIN derivative stamp. The second character of the stamp will be the model year of the block.
