805 newbie (engine stand)

805 newbie (engine stand)

Got to get this 350 blocked gutted for the machine shop.. Buddy of mine brought over a engine stand where and what exactly am i suppose to use to keep it in place. Like what bolt holes do i use?

Stand should have 4 "arms" that bolt to a flate plate. The other end bolts to the block at the bellhousing bolt holes. I prefer using grade 8 bolts. Bolt to block, center up the plate and insert in stand. Make sure all is tight before putting full weight of engine on stand.

Thanks guys.. I truly have no clue how manny things i would f!?k up if it wasent for this forum.. I know my cars happy i joined classic olds ahah
