77 Seville

Just got a Seville, engine fire and would like some direction on engine rebuild or swap. Comes with 350 olds. Mines was carb converted. I’d like to just take a vortex 5.7 with harnes and pcm and in. How much fabrication will I need if any.

A bunch, the sbc and Olds V8 share a distributor cap, nothing else.

You looking at possibly replacing or adapting the current trans with a plate. Engine frame brackets and mounts, extensive wiring changes, exhaust manifolds and front pipes, accy brackets for the front of the engine. It would be much easier to just rebuild the Olds 350.
