Ok i just bought a 350 block for $35, it came with a brand new timing chain and gears, and pistons with rods. this will probably be my first engine build. I am about to start collage so money will be a factor. engine size will also be a factor i want to keep it small enough to put in an 84 fiero. currently a dd until i get a truck

 

My advice would be find a good running 3800 SC, transaxle, computer, and wiring harness and swap them in.

 

well for one i do not have a 3800 block, and two i want the 8, they sound better
