67 F 85 specs and engine data

Looking at a 67 F 85 project.
Don't know much about the 330 motor.
High compression 2 barrel???
Do the cars mostly have drum brakes?
F 85 are just basic transportation?...not well optioned???
Any pics or info appreciated.
I love the Body style.
Thanks.

HC 2bbl is probable

Yes drum brakes

F85 was lowest level A body but could be optioned out somewhat.

I think the actual base engine was the L-6 but I am not sure how many were made. Yes the F85 was a "stripper" and could be ordered with the bare-bones.

If you are looking for docs for the 1967 Oldsmobile line, check out http://wildaboutcars.com and sign up for free. Tons of documentation and manual available and free for the taking. I don't get spammed by them, just one newsletter a month. Check it out.

I'd be buying the car unseen from the west coast for a good price.
The shipping adds an additional $1000 to the cost but the body is clean and it does run..330 motor.
I don't have many photos to look at..just a few of the body..which looks great for it's age.
Not looking for a show car..just a driver.
Thanks for the link.

You're welcome. Post some pics on here when it gets delivered. I LOVE the 67 body style as well and am planning on doing a restore on a 67 when I find a good candidate. If I may ask, did you purchase from an individual or a company?

The attached is a 67 F85 that I found on the Internet. This is probably a good representation of what an F85 looked like new, plain hubcaps and all.

I would ask for more pics, the earlier bodies are famous for rust in the trunk, floors, and especially the lower windshield channel.
