67 330 intake

After waiting 45 splendid minutes listening to elevator toe tapping music, I finally talked to a person at Edelbrock, who in fact came out and said “Nope I can’t help you”. Maybe you guys can. I bought many pipe plugs to fill the un-needed holes.
Question:
1. The red arrow points to a water jacket port that when I go to bolt on the alternator bracket it is in the way, does anyone know where to purchase
“Socket head pipe plugs”? Edelbrock dude said they were out of them, If so, what are they made of ?
2. Since this is an aluminum intake, I’m worried about leaks and them dissimilar metal bad reaction what, if anything can i put between the plugs and the manifold

You can buy brass hex plugs at any hardware store, Home Depot, Loews, etc... Use a plumbers pipe thread compound of your choice.
