556607 Crank, use for '70 350 4-speed?
556607 Crank, use for '70 350 4-speed?
Long story, shortened.
1. I have a '70 Cutlass Supreme 4-speed, with a '75 350 in it currently.
2. I have a '70 Olds 350 complete engine, from an auto trans car.
3. I have a 556607 crank that came to me with another '70 350 (disassembled). This crank appears to my untrained eye to be drilled for a manual trans.
Question 1: Can I swap the 556607 crank into my complete '70 engine, and then swap that engine into my car?
Question 2: It appears that the 556607 is a late model 403 crank, and I've heard that they are "drilled but not machined" for manual trans. If this is the case, do I use the "Mondello bushing" for Question 1?
Thanks, Steve
