403 intake

IM looking for an intake for a 403. Im using ported c heads. Does anyone know if they make an rpm air gap intake for a small block olds? What would be the best intake out there for power from 2300-6000? not so concerned about drive-ability here. looking to make power.

Performer RPM or otherwise the Victor but it all depends on the rest of your set-up

C heads with full port and polish and bigger valves. Heat crossover filled. compression around 10:1, possibly slightly higher. Arp head bolts. Pro magnum roller rockers. Full msd ignition and longtube headers. Engine is balanced. Im just looking for an intake that that will give me the best power....

Sounds like you need a victor or other very high perf/flow intake. then you will have to blend the small block ports in the intake to work with the C head ports. May need some extensive welding on the intake. Surely others have done it before; contact some of the Olds vendors on ROP.

The rest ofyour setup is not compatible with a wish for low end power. Gear the car to get 3000 rpm quickly and you will be fine. Might as well get an intake for the upper rpm band to go with the other stuff like ported BBO heads and big cam.

yeah i have 2500 stall converter and 4:10 gears. Will the victor benifit me over the rpm intake from the 2500-6000 rpm range? Ive been told id be better off for the rpm intake. i really would like the rpm air gap but i see they are not available yet for small block olds.

Current converter, get the rpm. If you step up to a 3000 rpm+, the Victor might work. You guys just want to see a Victor on a 403.
