Was it running before you did the work, or are you trying to get it running for the first time?

Since you didn't turn the distributor, it shouldn't be the timing!
You've probably crossed the plug wires, and flooded it.
Check your wiring, and wait 'til tomorrow to start it!
Bolt is 9/16, just has to be loosened, but don't change anything w/o a timing light!!!!

No after it overheated I got it started and it ran rough then died then I did the work and now it won't start it turns over and sounds like it wants to but it doesn't and its getting gas I can see it squrt maybe new wires since I changed the plugs two of them had the metal part that clicks stuck on the plug

If it jumped timing, you'll need more than plugs and wires!!
Pop the cap, watch the rotor as you turn the lower pulley - more than 2 inches play b4 the rotor moves, and you need a chain + gears, + + +!!

I'd get new wires before I did anything else!!!!!!!
But bad wire aren't gonna make you run hot, just crappy or not at all!!!!!!!!
IMO!!!!!!

Good luck!!!!!!
