I found the Desktop Dyno files I've been searching relentlessly for.
So I'm re-editing this thread to keep it for future reference and for others to discover.

The head flow numbers are not quite accurate, as they list bigger valves etc.
They're showing the best performance flow #'s for each head style.

 

Thanks for the info, the BBO (A,B,C) stock casting flow numbers seem pretty close for a big valve head. Almost all of the exhaust ports seemed good.

The SBO casting intake info is flowing around 40cfm over a stock 1.88 valve. It is flowing 15 cfm over a stock BBO 2.00 intake port.
A stock Edelbrock flows around 240-245 on the intake, not 279.

ALL of these must have had work.

I did not receive anything that showed modifications with my download.

This is why the Chevy LS series engines run so damn good, the heads move massive amounts of air, and there is no fudging of the numbers like others have done.

It would be nice to know what was done to these heads to make them flow these numbers, for an honest apples to apples comparison.

EXACTLY.

That's why I've been trying to find flow data on STOCK SBO Olds heads.
It's hard to use Desktop Dyno 2003 when you don't have correct head
profiles. You're inserting cam profiles and it's telling you you're going to
make 25-50hp more then reality because of the false head data.

It's very deceiving for guys looking to upgrade their motors and getting disappointing real world results.

Anyone have LEGIT factory OEM SBO head flow data ??
Especially for #6 heads that are NON-W31 heads ??

I no longer have any of my old flow numbers, but Mondello showed 185 on the #6 head at 25" vacuum. Still generous in my book.
I would use a figure of 175/180 cfm at .500/.550 lift, at 28 inches vacuum.

No, Alphabetical heads are big block heads. A, B, C, etc.
I saw that thread and I've seen where he pulled the data from too.

Nothing on Small Block OEM flow #'s out there.
I can't believe there's not 1 single verifiable source for Oldsmobile small blocks.

Makes me really believe these small blocks aren't too popular for performance......

 

You're right in the ballpark, Warhead. The exhaust is worse than you thought though.

You're right, these are not too popular for performance. Which is sad because you can double those flow numbers by bolting on a set of heads.
