350 Diesel builds

350 Diesel builds

I was wondering if anyone has any enteresting builds from a 350 deisel using a 425 or 455 crankshaft, what cam, heads, intake, pistons, rods, timing set, distributer can be used???, any help would be great, thanks

My old 380 was in a gas block first....then the DX. 330 crank

So you don't like my builds? No they don't have a BB crank in them, but have always been told a 455 will not fit. A 425 crank needs alot of work to get in there. Cut down counter weights with extensive balancing measures. The 330 crank did a much better job IMO, but it is still 40+ yrs old.

Where would you get the main bearing spacers to go from 3" to 2.5"???

My spacers came from Bill Travato Racing. Rocket Racing also has them.

The crank in the 425 is a Bryant. Very nice crank.
