330 update
330 update
Hello all
I have a 67 cutlass convert with a 330 and a PG trans. This is a 2bbl motor so I am guessing a low compression motor. I was thinking of doing a top end update as the motor is all stock and has 38000 miles on it.
1st off are the heads. I have a set of #5's I need to have rebuilt anyway. so I was thinking of using these
also intake cam and carb.
This is just a cruiser so I just want a little more grunt at the line and lopy idle. I already have true duals on it so that is taken care of.
Thanks for your help in advance

A performer intake from Edelbrock will help you out. Might find one in the classifieds for cheap. Same with a used Q-jet 4 barrel. I have a Crane cam sitting here that uses the stock valvetrain and has a good lope. Ran low 14s with this cam and intake setup years ago. It pulls good vaccume for power brakes too. Let me know, price would be $45 shipped. You would need new lifters cuz I dont have any. This setup is very driveable and fun but not to radical. It was in my 69 442 for 3 years as my daily driver. Then I went big block.
