Does anyone have a Intake manifold for a 324 Rocket for a 56 Olds 98. I need the flat manifold to allow the flat Valley Pan. I need it with a single quad carb.

 

I have one from a '55 engine. I can check to see if it has the flat bottom.

 

That would be great, If so are you willing to sell it? Is it for a 4 barrel carb? Is it in good shape (e.g. need paint, etc)?

 

The manifold needs to match up with the heads. #7 & #8 heads need '54-'55 intakes and #10 heads need a '56 intake.

Also, be sure that if you are running a Hydramatic that the carb has the necessary linkage.

Check EBay and the H.A.M.B. aka www.jalopyjournal.com and check the classifieds. Hemmings lists some dealers that specialize in those type parts.

Rebel, the intake came off a '55 engine with #8 heads. It is a 4 barrel intake. It's rough-looking. It needs to be media blasted and painted. Based on N43's info, it doesn't sound like it'll work for you. Sorry.
