I just traded for a 215 for a 61 f85 and a tranny on a pallet. It was taken apart to be rebuilt. before he could get it to the builder he found one allready built so there it sat in his heated shop for the last six months.
I have a 62 f85 and i already have a soild motor and I'll keep it for a spare if nothing else. But i thought that i would see if some one needed it.
In the trade i also got a new carpet kit for a 63 f85 two door it's a dark red not quit maroon.

 

Is the transmission the Roto Hydramatic 5. I am having my worked on out of a 63 F-85. They are having some difficulty, so I might have a need.

 

I don't know how to tell what it is for sure but i will be happy to help. If you can tell me how to tell I'll look and i also have a carpet kit for your car. It's a dark red.

 

There is only one auto trans for the 61 to 63 Olds F-85. Buick is different.
