1970 350 Oldsmobile 6 heads

Hello everyone I’m new to the group I have a 1972 cutlass with a 350 with 7a heads. I just bought a 1970 350 and I’m gonna build it to hold 350-400 hp now I’m looking for recommendations on what I should do to the heads, cam, pistons, and if anyone has done the same thing give me some guidance or your build sheet. I’m 21 so I don’t have a lot of experience. I’m tearing out my stock engine and putting the 70 engine in

5, 6, and 7a heads are about the same apples to apples.
All 68-72 blocks are about the same as well.
With that said, what do you mean by “build it to hold 350 to 400 hp”?

at the moment stock it’s 310 hp but to the wheel it looses 20 percent thru the drive train I was hoping to get 350- 400 hp to the tires

Hmmm I guess you’re not very familiar with SBO.😉
In order to have 350-400 at the wheels you’ll need 450+ at the crank.
So, my first question would be, what’s your budget, cuz it won’t be cheap if you want it to live.

Like Mark says, wont be cheap.
To do a proper build you will be close to $10,000.
