1957 pwr steering pump upgrade to A-Can style

1957 pwr steering pump upgrade to A-Can style
I'd like to replace the power steering pump that came on my 1957 Olds 371 to a new GM A-Can style pump. Pressure output is very similar but the mounting brackets are night and day. Anyone have any experience with this?
