It has value if someone is looking for that particular engine, otherwise you have yourself a great boat anchor. When I had my shop, I saved a bunch of engines, only to scrap them all when I closed the doors. These were low mileage engines that today people would love to have. Putting a buyer and seller together is the trick, but more often then not, it doesn't happen. It all depends on location. The demand for most engines are the high performance ones that were not produced in great numbers.

I would love to have the engine and trans. The problem is like the guy said logistics. To get that motor from whereits at to central nebr would exceed what and unknown more then likely stuck engine is worth.Hopefully someone close to you will rescue it.

Try posting on the HAMB - a lot of guys there love those old Hydra-Matics. Engine may not be worth much - looks like it's frozen...however if you can get to the 30-odd Torus cover bolts to separate the transmission you probably have a few hundred bucks there.

I'd still like to have it with the deal we agreed upon on the phone. If you don't want to deal anymore at least say so.
