Norm, a html h1 tag looks like <H1>test</H1>
I don't believe that has anything to do with what I am pointing out.
Completely agree w/ you regarding STANDARD convention. However, as I've suggested in another thread...collusion w/ Google is rampant. The fact it is embedded at the top of every page (not necessarily in standard html convention) still suggests (to me) it's being employed as a stand out top of hierarchy H1 tag. I can't think of another reason to insert a "1" in that space other than to prioritize the highest of the hierarchy for a search engine. Perhaps we'll wait for an IB developer to explain the logic.
Hey admins, Why is there a "1" on the top of all the Classic Olds pages? Someone doing some debugging or fat finger a template?
BTW, an "Admin" is not a developer and has no authority vested from IB to write, edit code. An "Admin" operates w/in a closed bubble of established "rules" provided to each Admin. Each Admin has a "template" which defines the boundaries or rules an Administrator is allowed to perform.

This is true
