is there a list of supported bb code for reference? like to embed a youtube video etc [yt][/yt]? also is there a list of acceptable and unacceptable links?

However, keep in mind that not all of them will work, depends on what the site owners want to allow. YouTube code for instance is VERY server bandwidth intensive, which costs them money, so many sites don't allow it.
