Smile toro convertibles

They really do exist, and I have an 83. Has there been any new info found on these convertibles? Mine is an H&E conversion done 1/83. I have been told less than 100 were done over 4 years, does that sound right? Created mostly for the PGA but also a few for dealers showrooms I'm told only H&E did the Toronados, does anyone know if that is correct? I would really like to know about my car but didn't know where to find out until Toro68 sent me to this sight, Thanks Jerry. I would really appreciate any information this Olds community might have. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the site. Do a search, there was a recent discussion about this and it seems it would answer your question.

Orion: check Craigslist in Orlando FL, there's one listed for sale for $3400 IIRC.
It's been relisted several times over the past month.

I've been tempted to check it out myself, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

Good Luck.
